Welcome to Hisubi. We built Hisubi as a sanctuary for mindful reflection, deliberate expression, and genuine human connection.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Hisubi (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using our website at hisubi.com, our mobile applications, or any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Child Safety Standards.
1. Eligibility & Account Security
To create an account and participate in the Hisubi community, you must satisfy our eligibility requirements:
Age Requirement (13+)
You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in jurisdictions where required by law). We do not knowingly permit accounts for individuals under this age threshold.
Sanctum Key Custody
Hisubi uses cryptographic key pairs for end-to-end encryption. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, recovery phrase, and device access.
2. Mindful Conduct & Prohibited Uses
Hisubi is designed to cultivate intentional, peaceful digital spaces. We maintain zero tolerance for malicious, abusive, or predatory actions. You agree never to:
- Zero Tolerance for CSAE/CSAM: Upload, solicit, transmit, or facilitate any Child Sexual Abuse Material or any exploitation of minors. All occurrences trigger immediate termination and mandatory NCMEC escalation.
- Harassment & Hate Speech: Engage in targeted bullying, stalking, threats of physical harm, hate speech, or defamation against any person or group.
- Automated Scraping & Bots: Deploy crawlers, scrapers, data-mining algorithms, or automated bots to harvest content, user profiles, or platform metrics without explicit authorization.
- Platform Exploitation: Probe, scan, reverse-engineer, or attempt to compromise authentication mechanisms, encryption protocols, or server infrastructure.
3. Your Content & Intellectual Property
You own your reflections: You retain complete intellectual property rights and copyright to all reflections, stories, images, and content you submit to Hisubi.
Our Limited Operating License
By submitting public content or Circle contributions, you grant Hisubi a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license solely to store, display, format, and distribute that content to provide the service. This license terminates automatically when your content or account is deleted.
* Note: End-to-end encrypted direct messages are never visible to Hisubi and are never licensed or analyzed.
4. Circles & Moderation
Circles are community spaces created and governed by users. Circle creators and appointed moderators have the authority to establish circle rules, accept or reject members, and moderate circle posts.
Hisubi reserves the right (though not an ongoing obligation) to review reported content, remove posts that violate these Terms, and suspend or disband any Circle that facilitates illegal behavior or hate.
5. Termination & “Erase My Path”
You are always in control of your presence. You may terminate your relationship with Hisubi at any time:
Voluntary Account Deletion
Use Settings > Erase My Path to trigger an immediate purge of your profile, posts, notifications, and encryption credentials across our systems.
Enforcement by Hisubi
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, participate in abusive conduct, or pose a security risk to the community.
6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
“As-Is” Provision:Hisubi is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
Wellness Disclaimer: Daily Sparks and reflection prompts are intended for personal introspection and community sharing. They do not constitute mental health counseling, psychotherapy, or medical advice.
Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hisubi and its founders, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.
7. Governing Law & Grievance Redressal
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts located in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India.

Grievance SLA: Under Indian Information Technology Rules, we acknowledge grievance submissions within 24 to 48 hours and resolve complaints within 15 days of receipt.
