“Tell the story of the absolute dumbest way you have ever accidentally injured yourself.”

I once managed to injure myself… while doing absolutely nothing impressive. I was sitting on a perfectly normal plastic chair, leaned back like I was in some dramatic movie scene—one leg stretched out, arms behind my head, fully relaxed. No danger. Zero threat level. Then I had the brilliant idea to adjust my sitting position. As I shifted my weight, one of the chair legs slipped slightly on the floor. Not enough to fall—just enough to create chaos. I panicked for no reason, overcorrected like I was steering a sinking ship, and somehow twisted my body in a way evolution definitely did not intend. End result: Chair still standing. Me… not. I didn’t fall dramatically. I just slowly slid sideways and landed awkwardly, managing to sprain my wrist trying to “save” myself from a fall that wasn’t even happening. The most embarrassing part? Someone asked, “What happened?” And I had to say: “I was sitting.”
